#thetexasrealtor goes green Prosper Earth Day Festival:
Make the Earth your new BFF. Spend a day at the annual Earth day on the 21 st of April at the Oxbow Eco-center. There will be lot’s on site with some hands-on things to occupy the kid’s too. From live animals to a stroll through the enchanted forest to be able to connect with nature. It is a free event and you can even win a fantastic drawing if you get caught in the act of taking good care of the earth! Sound’s good to me? You can even have a dance to the music there too suited for everyone’s tastes.

Clean living in Frisco? On April 20 th between 8am – 1pm Frisco will be participating in an ‘Operation Clean-up’! What they ask is for you to clean the areas around your work, home or school and pick up as much litter as you can. In return they throw a volunteer’s party allowing families to participate in face painting, bouncy castles and much more along with lots of food provided. The event is called ‘Clean it & green’ and promises to be a fun filled morning to entertain everyone! #thetexasrealtor goes green McKinney Wal-Mart Green store:
Shop with a clear conscious at the new Wal-Mart ‘green’ store. Not like any other in the area, this store was designed to save you energy and uses all energy saving technologies. Shop for low cost Kale, Spinach and Collard greens all while knowing your helping the environment. The 120 feet turbine blades at the entrance are impressive enough to make your instagram feed and they also power the store with wind energy, that’s a win-win. While strolling the aisle in March, take a look at the solar panels in addition to walkway tiles made from recycled tires. Way to go Walmart McKinney.
